The author of the story, Yuri Nikolaevich Feoktistov (1913-1977), a stage designer from Riga, was born and raised in Siberia and later lived and studied in Moscow. He was illegally repressed in the 1930s.

“A necessary condition for bullying and persecution in society is initiated or the total situation of “disregard for the individual” encouraged by the authorities. But another condition has arisen in history — the split of the Russian world, which has been repeated several times, accompanying terror and persecution. As a result the split was not only “disregard for personality”, but also new ideologies and imaginary moral guidelines that lead further and further Russian people from the Truth and from God.

I've been thinking for a long time whether to post my research article here. Then decided that it fits into the site's problems, since one of the prerequisites for mobbing are initiated and encouraged from above the situation of “disregard for identity”.
