Thousands of incredible things happen on Earth every second, and not all of them are positive. Today, not only wildlife but also many people are fighting for survival. Participants of the Siena International Photo Awards tried to show all the diversity and ambiguity of our planet. In 2020, the jury processed almost 48,000 images from photographers from 156 countries. Grega Lecker, a Frenchman, was the absolute winner with an underwater photo showing a giant iceberg surrounded by crab-eating seals. Among the finalists is a Russian woman with a photo of the London Carnival. The most impressive photos of the contest are in the “Tape.ru” gallery.
